Is it just me, or has Crysis 2 had enough trailers to string together a short film? Ah well, here's another one for your viewing pleasure, centered around the Nanosuit's athletic capabilities.
It's good to see a single-player trailer, in any case. Haven't had one of those in a while, and the single-player is what I'm most interested in.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one. I just hope EA's obsession with Call of Duty hasn't forced Crytek to become a "me-too" developer with a three-hour campaign and endless "stay frosty" quotes.
Well, the sp is nothing like cod. The same cant be said about the mp, which isnt necessarily a bad thing since it has it's own gimmick, giving the mp experience a bit more depth.
I actually pre ordered
Crysis 2 demo is a great thing. The single player in beta seemed like a great thing also. I'm certainly buying the game for the multiplayer, but pirating the game before it hits my postbox so I'll get into the promising single player asap.
I can't help but find the "be fast" trailer all too.. meh. Not in the sense of trailer quality or editing, but because the new suit doesn't exactly feature the first suit's faster-than-sonic speed mode. Although at least now I won't accidentally ramp off a rock and fly into a wall.
I've noticed that every trailer for this game that centers around the suit has the same song in it, atleast the lyrics anyway. In the first trailer for C2, it was supposed to be sad, so the song was sad along with it. In the be strong trailer, it was more powerful, like a rock song. In this speed trailer, it's faster, almost like drum and bass. Wonder what invisibilty will bring us. No song at all, perhaps? :P
Why claim to have a speed mode anyway? Anyone who has played the first one knows they just blatantly took out speed mode. Yet it still takes suit power to do a regular sprint, I have to say wtf is up with that? Not only that you can't even run in the other two modes >.<.
