Too bad every time I tried to play the demo it just froze up on me. Never got patched and next thing I know the demo period was ever. Great first impression.
i loved the crysis 2 demo. its definitely flawed. and the melee attack was buggy, but thats why they put out a beta. I have never been more excited for an FPS that isnt from Valve. i cant wait.
I haven't played the demo, but after watching that video I'd like to give their marketing team a gold star. All of the ridiculous customization options are awesome, assuming they work as previewed. I went from indifferent to ridiculously excited in under 5 minutes.
Surprised by all the hate. I was not interested at all until the demo. Thankfully I like to download demos while intoxicated.
Crysis 2 Demo impressed me more than Killzone3 demo or Bulletstorm Rape demo.
Could be because Crysis 2 plays like I wanted Modern Warfare 2 to be, before MW2 came out and shit all over my childhood(mid-life?!) dreams. Crysis 2 plays like a better CoD than CoD. Huh. Go figure.

I was wishing this would show that Crysis 2 has MANY more upgrade options. They ones that they showed were just the ones in the demo/some you couldn't unlock.
There was nothing that really makes you unique.
Why not have more extreme ones? The balance could be off, but it'd be much more diverse.
(ex.. reloading faster doesn't get my blood pumping... being permanently invisible does.)

I really had fun with the MP demo. Not so much at first, because of the suit complexity. Then the complexity became more and more enjoyable once I got used to it. Gonna pick this up day 1, but those pre-order bonuses are kaka. Ah well.
Yea I agree with JesusNinja. I downloaded the multiplayer demo expecting something new, getting a bit tired of Black Ops. I came away very, very unimpressed. Download the demo on XBL (if you have the patience to wait that long) and you'll see what I mean.
I played the demo, and I was like "Oh, so it's Halo, but a bit prettier (not as impressive as I expected, but it ain't hard to look prettier than Halo!) and it's got a sliding mechanic and I can jump high without a super jumpy pad.

I'm really starting to loathe these "level up" systems. It takes me 60 hours to get my suit upgraded all the way? Really? I don't have that much time to sink into multiplayer. I also don't want to play on day 2 with a bunch of guys who started at level 5 on day 1.
Give me the classes or let me load out a character like I want to start with, or I'll go to your competitor.
I come to play, not to grind.
On the plus side, the suit does look cool.

They'd better offer a free multiplayer demo when this game is released, cause that beta turned a lot of people away from the game.
