Capybara's rather delightfulCritter Crunch comes out today, and we here at Dtoid figured we'd celebrate by getting our multiplayer on and hurling all over one another. Just another good old day at the job. However, Capybara beat us to the punch with this launch trailer, entitled A Barf in the Night, and we thought you might like to share in all the rainbow-colored fun with us.
In case you forgot, this game is $6.99 and likely better than most of the sh*t on the Playstation Network twice its price.I f you love it, you may also love the hilarious shirts that Capybara made to promote the game, which you can check out here. I got mine at PAX this year and I wear it with pride. Now, I'm off to enjoy the game!
I think I just might. I do have the Iphone version but I'm pretty sure a D-pad makes it justice more than anything else. Plus it has colors , and eventhought I am color-blind I can still appreciate them.
This game IS Zoop with adorable art. And it's amazing. Buy the damned thing.
One complaint: couldn't find the fucking demo on PSN, even though when you purchase it, you're downloading the demo and the unlock key (it shows them on your download list). I checked under "demos" and "new releases" under demos, and I looked at the Critter Crunch game page, and it didn't show me the option of the demo like many other games. I call bananas on this one. Cute, delicious bananas.
@willxcore :
First off? I think it was a joke. You know, ha ha? And secondly, aside from PSX games, I've personally found a lot more value (and a broader range) of quality games on Live. That doesn't somehow mean PSN is BAD, I love it, but you're speaking as though the service didn't have half the number of high quality titles. That's mostly a product of the service having been around longer, feel free to check something like Metacritic on that. Can't speak for Wii, I'm sure someone would be glad to tell you you're wrong on that one, I just wanted to throw in my two cents.
In a perfect world, I can't imagine why every PS3 owner doesn't pick up a $20 PSN card, and buy Flower, Critter crunch and Nobi Nobi Boy. That $20 will cover tax and everything, and they're 3 of the best downloadable experiences on the PSN.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I mean... it has the first part of my name on the title :/

Thanks for the T-shirt tip Colette. I was just thinking about how great that would be.

Doo iiit. *shakes fist*
Have about 20 or so downloaded games and every one of them (except maybe Ragdoll Kung Fu) is completely worth it. This game fits in quite nicely.
Can't resist:
"I can't wait to get off when I play it."
C wut I did thar?
