Disclaimer: the screenshot above is not from Criterion Games' latest trailer for the Burnout Paradise Cops and Robbers Pack. Why? The better question is, why not? In all seriousness, the image has more pizazz, but the video (after the break) has less blur; it's an equal trade-off, I think.

Probably the coolest thing about this DLC that you might not know is that every car, excluding the Burning Route and Carbon cars, will have a police skin.

Once I got all of the smashes, billboards, jumps, and completed far too many online challenges in Paradise City, I figured it was a good time to take a break. 50 or so hours in about three weeks? Kind of insane, considering I'm not usually huge on racing games.

Chances are, I'll have had enough of a cool down period by the time the new DLC comes out to start playing again. Anyone else going to as well? There's also going to be a more in-depth trailer for the Cops and Robbers Pack in the very near future, so be on the lookout for that.

Holy Shit! Another DLC pack. I popped in Burnout paradise last week and before that I hadn't played it in numerous months. After it got trough DL all the updates Paradise city is really a different place from what I remember it. It such a fun game to just drive around, this is probably my favorite racing game and open world game. I cant wait to see more of this DLC. I still gotta smash all the billboards and yellow fences.

Aw, it's just a skin? Bummer, a shame you can't arrest those who go over the speed limit or do a drive-by.

Too bad cops don't have awesome flashy cars in real life.

Sorry I really enjoy BP but this DLC should be free, even if they've given each car a separate police skin, there should be an option to just have no police skins and get the DLC for free, since this is essentially "Multiple Marked Man".

Awesome stuff. I've been playing Burnout Paradise on and off for the last few months, I don't even do events or anything, I just drive around with the Jansen 88/DeLorean.

Yes finally! This is going to be awesome. I'm currently replaying it for the 3rd time (normal, after trophy update released and finally when I switched over to the US downloaded version).

I'm really curious about the 3D version they hinted in that Qore episode.

Criterion is the Valve of racing games.

I have a feeling Microsoft is making them charge for their DLC now because they're seeing how successful Criterion is doing and wants money out of it.

I may not get this, but damn it, Criterion is one of the few companies I truly respect by giving the consumers lots of free stuff to pump up an already great game. Kudos to them.

Also, does anyone know when the new level and the airplane pack are coming out, or are those scrapped?

If it's 400 I think it's quite a good deal, anything more is kind of a rip in my opinion, besides the fact that they have given so much stuff for free already.

Hmmm, think I may have to buy this game. I've heard so much about it. And I LOVE racing around in GTA4... can't imagine me not liking this game.
