Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Alright, Criterion is f*cking awesome. This, THIS, is how developers need to support their games. This is the year of Burnout Paradise, as it's receiving a bunch of downloadable content. We’re getting toy cars, the Extreme Hotrod, and just before Christmas, Criterion showed off the 88 Special, otherwise known as the DeLorean from Back to the Future. The video above shows off the DeLorean, and this car can book it.

When I saw the DeLorean, I figured Criterion wouldn’t be able to top that. I was so wrong. Today, Criterion revealed the last three cars from the Legendary Cars pack. As you read in the title, the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, KITT from Knight Rider and the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard are all coming to Paradise City later this year. Each car has a special feature, just like the DeLorean, and will be worth whatever Criterion charges for the Legendary Cars pack when it's released.

Check out the gallery below for the new images and the latest episode of Crash TV above detailing all of the new cars. Oh, and if you’re looking for some Burnout Paradise merchandise, Criterion has a brand new store up full of shirts, mugs and more.

Also I realised the likeness of the car to the Ecto-1, but how did the resemblance to Kitt and the General Lee get past me!

Criterion delivers again.

Love how they're careful with the language.

Love the flame trails left by the DeLorean. I assume they only show up at or above 88 mph, which makes it that much cooler.

I don't even like racing games, but even I have to say that is really cool. More developers should do stuff like this.
