Crisis Core PSP bundle will rape your wallet (and your Mom) photo

So it looks like the Crisis Core PSP bundle is available for preorder in a few places. That's the new PSP slim, with a Buster Sword wrist strap and some Zack-Cloud-Sephiroth art as done by Nomura, from the looks of it. They're only making 77,777 of these babies -- and the whole works costs $409.

...Yeah. Next up, a piece of paper with the words "FINAL FANTASY" written on it, now available for only $599!!

The subliminal tentacles that Square-Enix have implanted in my brain make me want this. It cannot be denied. Before long I'll be gold-farming all day in a dimly-lit Chinese basement cafe, hopped up on mysterious caffeine drinks with a glaze in my jaundiced eye, grinding until my heart, mind, soul and wallet belong to gaming. OH SEFIROSU-SAMA

This, combined with the new online store, will rape 77,777 Weeaboo wallets in North America.

Good show, Squeenix.

No way! That's too expensive for a simple psp surface stuff.

Whoa!

I could have sworn I read that it was only going to be ~250 dollars. $409 is too rich for my blood.

Oh well still looking foward to Crisis Core.

Anyone have any details on this upcoming piece of paper?

I have a PSP already, so this pack doesn't pull on any heartstrings. DO NOT WANT

Now, lets think of a possibility...

The new PSP-slim has a firmware that is insta-exploited by the haxxors, and homebrew is easy as pie to run. DO WANT

Oh crap. I do want this.

For FF, not for the lack of anything playable.

Hi Leigh!

That is all.

I always thought this would be the game that bought me a PSP. I'm such a wretched fanboy. Although the Rondo of Blood remake is a powerful draw, too.

If it was $250 or lower, I would probably get it just to give my current PSP to my cousin-in-law (she loves my psp and guilty gear). To see her jump for joy to get a free, fully working PSP and a game... ALMOST priceless. that $400+ price take... sorry Squeenix, I don't love you that much.

I have no beef with the PSP like some people have. It may not be a DS, but it's solid and since all I would really like to play on the road is fighting games, racing games, and an occasional platformer then the PSP and it's ports of things like Street Fighter Alpha, Darkstalkers, and Guilty Gear are solid ports perfect for my PSP needs. DS can keep all its puzzle games and mini games (which, in fact, I have no problem with either).

Whoops, there I go blabbing again. Carry on people.

Actually, Leigh is way hotter than Jessica Chobot (although Jessica Chobot's pretty smokin') and I think Leigh should have her own little action figure.

Oh, and I almost forgot, PSPs are still crap.

Could you both lick the PSP at the same time? I would buy that PSP for realz, I wouldn't even care if it worked. And I'd pay $409 for it. Yes I would like pictures please.

Nice bundle, but that's like, 2 and a half Nintendo DS', if you know what I mean.

I think that strap would like nice on a DS Lite though. You can probably just put the bundle and sell the strap on ebay and make more money than you did actually buying the pack.

Wow, DO NOT WANT. PSP = FAIL *hugs my DS*.

(Oh and Leigh you seriously need to get off Secound Life, it fails worse then Runescape 8P)

Lololol, isn't that the guy they were talking about with the furry av on Podtoid?

Also PSP is sweet, I support owning a PSP and a DS. I hope my boyfriend gets a slim one so I can take his old one c.c'.

isn't the PSP crisis core edition is so expensive because it's being imported from japan? square enix announced this deal only in japan like a month or two ago, and there it had normalish pricing. i don't think square enix ever announced a US or European version of it...

Let's see, I like Final Fantasy, I want a PSP, but...

New PSP slim: $200
MOST you can be expected to pay for a high-profile PSP game (think GTA): $50

So in this bundle, you're supposedly getting $159 worth art, wriststrap, and, uhh.... collectiblity, I guess?

Anyone know if I'll have to pay any import taxes / duties on this psp in the US if I buy from Play Asia? I've never imported anything above $50~ in value.
