All I want is a strong FPS style with lots of powerful guns,,, Aliens attacking from every direction, and a vicios AI... I don't think da is so hard to accomplish... plus some kind of horde mode....xcuse my English I'm still learning!!!

viking was an absolutely stumbling mess of a game, but it had some charm. The action was heavy but pretty fluid and exploration was fine. The game had this weird notion of most of its limitations, making sure that it never overstood its welcome for TOO long. Which means it's a short, somewhat enjoyable romp that avoids most of the frustration you could garner from it by streamlining itself when it wasn't too busy being obtuse and overall annoying.
Lame little game that aimed low and hit lower, while maintaining some semblance of fun. Let's see how this one fares.

Huh? Since when is Obsidian making Colonial Marines? Obsidian was working on the Aliens RPG, which is now canceled. Gearbox is still making Colonial Marines.
I'm glad that Aliens RPG was canned. Obsidian is fuck awful.
I have no experience with this team but after Rocksteady coming out absolutely nowhere and doing Arkham Asylum I have a bit more faith in small little known studios doing great things with licensed products.

I just want to know why the fuck we don't have a legitimately great Aliens game yet. We've had a few sparks but nothing that you'd put up there with the big titles.
It should be simple too considering Aliens has been used as a starting point to developing loads of Sci-Fi shooters over the years.
Gearbox seems to be our best hope tbh. If they ever get round to it.

The last game disappointed me... I remember AvP2, that was a gem. The new AvP reused maps (straight from multiplayer sometimes) and lacked the story depth that the first game had. I won't be preordering anymore games of the alien or predator franchise until I start seeing some quality again. The new AvP was fun, but not $60 fun.
I can't wait for Colonial Marines! The xenomorph is one of my favorite creations of all time, and I think it's a shame that nobody has been able to implement it into a videogame more successfully. The control scheme in AvP was too convoluted for me. Also, I'm definitely going to start using the phrase, "turbo-hard"!!!
