Create an alien ecosystem in Ecolibrium for PS Vita

7:30 PM on 02.12.2013

We heard about Ecolibrium back in September, though this free application for PlayStation Vita is only now available in North America. As the name suggests, this is all about putting together a balanced ecosystem that will allow alien creatures to thrive. There's also a collection element thrown in for good measure, as well as photo taking.

When you read that out loud, yeah, it sounds rather silly. And surely the game will outstay its welcome before too long, but I'd be lying if I said Ecolibrium doesn't look like it'll scratch a very particular itch of mine. I'm a total sucker for virtual ecosystems like this -- there aren't enough of them! -- and "free" seems like a good way to get others (i.e., normal humans) interested.

Saving the newly erected Ass from poop water in Cities: Skylines

Paradox is sticking with, "let’s talk about our product on its own merits" tact with its upcoming city-builder from developer Colossal Order, but I am under no such nice-marketing guide (nor do I know tact, as this post will confirm). Cities: Skylines is looking to be what busted ol' SimCity should’ve been.more
