Create a level for Bionic Commando: Rearmed and it could be featured in the game photo

Capcom has a cool new contest going on right now that involves you designing a challenge level for the upcoming downloadable game, Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Whoever comes up with the best design will not only have their creation included in the actual game itself, but will also appear in the credits.

While this type of contest may not be a new concept by any means, that's not to say it isn't an awesome way to spawn creativity and grant one lucky winner some serious bragging rights.

Should you be up for this challenge, you'd better check out the official rules before working on that masterpiece just yet. Oh, and don't forget, the deadline is March 12!

[Thanks, Seth!]

"Designing" the level is pretty creative word usage when no level editor is used. The directions are to "[b]e as impressionistic or as specific as you like. Sketch it, MS Paint, or scrawl it on the wall of a cave–we don’t care..."

I'd like to see what the judges are actually looking for.

I agree, there'd be a much greater response to this if there was a simple program that let you drag and drop tiles to compose your level.

kinda sucks that you have to use your imagination instead of an actual program to figure out what Capcom wants.

It'd be really easy to turn photoshop into a level editor using that photo they provided, I'm all over this.

Kinda cool, but I predict a bunch of crappy submissions.
