American commercials don't have enough crazy dads. This new Japanese commercial for the WiiWare version of Ace Attorney is proof.
The commercial kind of drags ass until dad gets into the action, flinging his Wiimote-holding hand and yelling. I don't think he could have made a more intense face. Mom even gets into it. And at the end, dad has to be reminded that he's holding the television remote, and not the Wii Remote. Dad, you're such a dumbass.
This commercial is for the the December 15th release of Ace Attorney on WiiWare in Japan, where it will sell for 900 Wii Points. There's more coming down the line for them, too. Hopefully Crazy Dad makes a comeback.

You know what's a bitch? Not being able to find the first three Phoenix Wright games for DS. I had them and sold them years back, and now I want them back and haven't been able to get my grubby mits on them.
Seriously, this sounds fantastic. These games always were clever and fun romps through law school, and motion-activated Objectioning sounds downright divine.
Is that all the Wii version of Phoenix Wright is? I thought it was gonna be a remake with like anime cut scenes or something. Have to say I'm a little disapointed. I already own these games on my DS.
