Crashmo has a neat little feature that will mark the beginning of in-house QR code support. When loading up a custom QR level in Crashmo, you can visit a website within the 3DS browser, save an image, and load it up in-game.

Previously, you had to take a picture of the code with the 3DS' camera with the aid of a laptop/smartphone/printed paper or what have you. Now, it's a tad bit easier, which should help those people out there who don't have easy access to a PC.

Essentially what this translates to is another confirmation of more free DLC, in line with Pushmo -- it's just easier to obtain this time. Cool little things like this make me excited to see what Nintendo can bring with the Wii U.

'Infographics action game' Metrico lands on PS Vita next month

We've covered Metrico a couple of times before but it's only now, in the last big push before release, that I am starting to grasp what it's all about. This trailer helps. The game is full of infographics that "change based ...more

Review: Abyss Odyssey

One thing you can't accuse Chilean developer ACE Team of doing is ploughing the same, well trodden ground as other indie devs. Its debut hit Zeno Clash combined a surrealistic art style with first-person, melee combat, while ...more

Beating Spelunky in under two minutes

One minute and fifty five seconds -- that's the new world-record any% time for Spelunky set by Pibonacci. It hurts my brain thinking about how many runs must have happened before the right conditions presented themselves for this to unfold. To think, I was happy to clear Olmec in under eight minutes for the "Speedlunky" achievement.more
