Crackdown: Preparing for the real seller photo

It seems someone at a retail outlet snapped a picture of what will be the real seller of Crackdown: the Halo 3 beta. Good to know they got their priorities straight on this one. Makes you wonder if they'll sell the game in a Master Chief display.

I used to make jokes about that shit, but seriously -- Crackdown is so fucking good that Halo 3 is somehow less of a priority to me than it used to be, which is to say that it has negative priority, which is to say that I will eat babies if confronted with Halo 3, just so the cops will take me away and I won't have to fucking play it.

Anyway, Crackdown is rad.

Haha the commercial for that game is so fucking rediculous. The only way it could have been better was if that guy went on an all out insane tirade.

Honestly, this can only mean a win for Crackdown's developers. Considering how hard it's getting for a new IP to get off the ground, packing it with the Halo 3 demo means lots of customers who might never look twice at the game are going to check this out. Combined with the critical love it's been receiving already, they've got a new franchise that will probably last a while. MS was really smart packing Halo 3 with a great but unknown title as opposed to a shit game they just wanted to shovel out the door.

first off, crackdown wins.
second, friends purchased it at a local meijers because walmart were being dumb have no clue wtf crackdown was.
lastly, it is nice to be able to collect and kill without having to worry about the demo timeout.

Judging from the demo, I'd say Crackdown easily holds its own. Access to the Halo 3 Beta is just the icing on the cake.
