I know this will be an unpopular and unrealistic statement but someday i'd like to see a game with 1 achievement worth 1000 points: complete the game on the insane difficulty. It would make some sense for a game like crackdown in which collecting orbs and leveling up is necessary to finish the game.

I was wondering why the hell there was a patch needed for a demo that just released. Is it just me, or is the left trigger lock-on always trying to target an inanimate object or someone really far away first, instead of the guy infront of me, actively killing me?
I do hope the controls for Crackdown 2 are pretty fucking spot on perfect. Otherwise, you're just hurting yourself to turn up the difficulty, I think. I remember playing Prototype, which I liked when I started from the beginning, but just playing on normal difficulty revealed how frustrating and perforated with flaws the combat controls were. That might have had something to do with how the enemies would come at you, or maybe even the camera. But Crackdown 2 looks to have a lot of similarities to Prototype in that way, with zombie like mosters of various sizes and such, so it makes me worry that they might make the same kinds of mistakes with how someone with super-powers will want to dispacht them.
I enjoyed the demo, so I went out and got the first game (which I had skipped) cheap, because from what I have seen so far, they're the same game.
I'm quite enjoying it, but I don't feel the need to spend $60 to play it again. Maybe the dtoid review will convince me otherwise!
