Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

A few days ago, Destructoid brought you the first look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time remake for XBLA. Now, thanks to pedrovay2003 (via Gamervision), we have the first video footage of the game in action.

The footage was taken off-screen so the quality is horrible. Can't say I'm impressed yet. I'd want to see footage straight from Ubisoft before I can decide if this is something I'd like ... Oh, who am I kidding? I freaked out when I saw an original TMNT action figure at a swap meet a couple of weeks back. I'm going to love this no matter what.

Check out the gameplay footage for yourself while you can after the break. One thing is for sure, this lady will just LOVE the remake.

For fuzzycam footage, it's looking pretty good. I think!

I hope they put all the different versions of the game levels in, that'd be particularly sweet

I'd probably shell out (no pun intended) $15 for this. The original arcade game just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Flood of childhood memories coming back. I agree with video cognito if they can remake this and The Simpsons and Smash TV I'll be one happy little kid again.

Okay.....

I played this to death on SNES and it looks like they've made some gameplay changes. I did notice the same songs though so I'm glad for that. I hope they dont f#$k this up because the old school beatem-up TMNT games hold some of my most beloved memories.

As I was saying at the NARP this weekend, I hope they add a harder difficulty. I remember this game being quite easy even when I was a kid.

Oh wow, I didn't even know Gamervision had that video. I just searched YouTube for something like "turtles in time remake gameplay".

I would buy this for sure. Although I do think a 2D version updated in HD would be a nice fit as well.

I am so in when they release this. God willing, they'll release it anyway. Especially if they keep the original Arcade/SNES version in with it. One of my favorite games of it's type there.
