sounds great, but all of those things you named take like 100 people in order to run. If you have like 3 people manning a Battleship that'd be reaaaaaaally unrealistic. Not to mention it'd move incredibly slow.
But I did like in BF2 how you could main the AA guns from the Aircraft Carrier to shoot down enemy planes. Expanding on that idea would be awesome.
They could theoretically do it since they had done it in Codename Eagle, BattleField 1942, the Tango in Battlefield: Vietnam and in a way the Titans in Battlefield 2142. I think a better question is: Should they do it?
I agree with you that they should not as while Naval combat would be grand it would fairly slow considering the setting and probably be better for them to not concern themselves with it for the main game. But Patrol boats would be nice.
"Warfarey" name? CHECK
Yep, this is, ladies and gentleman, a war video game.
I agree to a point. Battlefield 2 is an amazing gmae and I as well hope they usthe basis of that for BF2. Bad Company indeed sucked, but I really enjoyed Bad Company 2.

*shakes hand*
Second time you have said that exact same line, hrmmmmm. Dos thou think-ith thine Call of Due-tee be-tah than Batt-L fee-eld?
yeahhhh boiiiiiiii
Now gimme excellent mod tools again!
If it was called Battlefield of the enders: Mooki Tooki warriors EX2 japenese edition would it peak your interest a bit more?
Ye...
YES :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I'm just screwing with you XD
But seriously, it would peak my interest a bit more if the cover was a little bit more... original. Take the cover of games like Uncharted 2 and Halo Reach as an example :)
You like great looking cover art so I retract my last comment.
I detest war games but i love how this is a lot more deeper than the generic pap out there.
Looks like Dice/EA are going the way of Duke Nukem Forever with decade long development cycles.
