Looks like in-game engine and models. Game should look like this on a modern PC. Slightly less sharp textures and shittier anti-aliasing and shadows on the consoles I would assume. Me wantee!
I never played CounterStrike, but the game does have a large following. It's really hard to tell anything from the video and I wish they had showed more of the gameplay. Is it an FPS or third person shooter (for some reason I thought it was FPS, which is my preference). Is it objective based or just team deathmatch?
I guess I may just have to wait and see... or do some google stuff and learn more about the original game.

There's no way in hell this is the actual trailer. Everything was so unpolished and clunky looking, especially for a CG trailer.

Yes, Jobias is right, in the Youtube video, it says "2008: I am BACK!" Also, with MW3 and BF3 comin out, along with a load of other similar type of shooters out there, CS will have to have be special to stand out. I don't think it could survive long or sell well if it's just a rehash of the same old CS:Source stuff. I would certainly like to see a fun and interesting single player campaign, instead of just multiplayer matches, and it would need a COD/BF type tracking system for everything done in the game to be competitive too.

Check out the Steam stats, CS 1.6 and CS:S are ranked second and third most played games on Steam behind Team Fortress 2. That's ahead of the supposed juggernauts of the CoD franchise. They all sell well during Steam sales still, this is for a 7 year old game.
It's always been a multiplayer orientated shooter, CS:Condition Zero has singleplayer and no one is interested, along with it being shit.
