The device pictured above is claimed to be a mockup of the rumored Apple iPad Mini, leaking out a day before Apple's big press conference, where at least the iPhone 5 is expected to be announced.
French site Nowhereelse.fr has a pretty decent track record of leaking Apple device details, and today they have what they claim to be a new set of photos of a mockup of the upcoming tablet. It looks like the iPad's 4:3 aspect ratio stays, but the bezel on the sides ahs been narrowed for a better grip. Many have tried to figure out how the device would be laid out following the leak of the iPad Mini's rear shell, and now it seems that someone has figured it out.
Some analysts say that the iPad Mini could be announced later, in a separate October event.
If this is the new iPad, this size and shape is considerably more useful to me than the previous models. I'd take one! Would you? If so, how much would you pay for one?
