Cosplay, get Phantom Hourglass early at Nintendo World Store event this Sunday photo

You know, I blink and the next thing I know, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is coming out on the Nintendo DS. It seems like only yesterday we were drooling over shoddy Famitsu scans of the title, or waiting in long lines at E3 2006 to play the game (or, just waiting in the line to get a Nintendo DS carrying case).

Whatever the case may be, the game will officially be in stores this coming Monday, and the Nintendo World Store is holding an event this Sunday (1 - 4 p.m.), to kick-off the game's launch. Some highlights will include: A dude dressed up like Link; fans dressed up like Link, and other series characters for an in-store costume contest; a trivia contest; and a live multi-player Phantom Hourglass tournament.

Additionally, from 2 - 4 p.m., you'll also be able to purchase the game a day early. But wouldn't you rather first wait for Aaron Linde's Destructoid review of Phantom Hourglass, which should be live this Monday? Oh, I think you do!

Wow. That Midna costume is really good. If I was a wolf i would let her ride me. And I want the DS game. I want it so bad.

O_O at Midna cosplayer. If more people like that turn up on the day, Nintendo will be onto a winner.
