Contest: Win the Steam 2D Indie Bundle! photo

[Update: That's it, contest is over, and all codes are gone! Congratulations to those who nabbed one, and have fun!]

The "Indie 2D Bundle" available on Steam right now is an insane deal. We're talking $9.99 for five solid 2D indie games: BIT.TRIP.RUNNER, NightSky, NyxQuest: Kindrid Spirits, Swords and Soldiers HD, and World of Goo. That's a $49.99 value, and you'd be insane not to buy it at $9.99.

That is, of course, unless we just give you the whole package! Courtesey of Swords and Soldiers developer Ronimo Games we have 10 codes to give away. But we have to act fast, because the deal ends soon, and once it does the codes go bye-bye.

So here's what we're going to do: not long after this post goes live, we're going to start spitting them out on our Twitter account, @Dtoid. We'll give them out roughly every five or ten minutes until all of the codes are gone. So get your copy-and-paste fingers ready, and head over to Twitter for your chance to win.

Review: Axiom Verge

It seems like a foregone conclusion when looking at Axiom Verge that comparisons are going to be made to Metroid. It is, without doubt, similar in more ways than it differs from Nintendo's iconic franchise. The differences matter, though, and Axiom Verge merges classic environment design with new mechanical twists, producing a game that feels both familiar and fresh at the same time.more
