Contest update: Congratulations to N-48, you've won the N-81!

Yesterday Destructoid's panel intern LostCrichton appointed comment #48 on this thread as the winner.  You'd think that determining the winner would be black and white, but nothing is easy on Destructoid.  As some of you know we have a beloved glitch in Lackner's Elephant which makes "first post" actually comment zero. So do you count 0 then 48 (so the winner is #49) or do you subtract one to account for zero (which makes it #47)?  The plot thickens further: As it turns out the comment zero bug was patched on the front page months ago but only still remains on the c-blogs. Jeez!

Anyway, to make a long story short we've decided to scrap all methods above and just use the MySQL database entry ID as the determining one as there are no visible numbers on editorial comments anyway.  That said ... Congratulations BahamutZero! As soon as hurricanes are done ravaging the South and we can get home we'll get your prize in the mail. For those of you in the South and East Coast, we wish you the best of luck and are reminding you now -- start charging your gameboys and PSPs.

So what's next? I'm also pleased to announce that a new contest is coming up next month for a coveted set of sweet drums soon to be released for a certain music game. Keep an eye out for it.  The theme of the contest will be "That was then, this is now". Call your mothers!
