Firstly, never talk about cheese! Gorgonzola is the best!! Secondly, it´s quite funny to see err, Major Nelson or OXM in their podcast (Xbox360´s podcast theme) talking about other systems, like Scribblenauts when it released, they´ve talked how enjoyable was the game or last week when Major Nelson tweeted that he was getting Uncharted 2 for him, it´s very very cool, because most of 360´s Fanboys, like myself, recognize that other plataforms have great games and great experiences!! It´s not like this bullshit of Ps3 Fanboys, that don´t play anything that is not PS3 and for him everything else is HorseShit! Funny though, is that most of games that I see a comparison, 360 graphs are more vivid and better!

So.. grow up, you morons! Stop whinning about it!!

There is more fodder being thrown at ps3 in the media in general though, i see why people get up in arms. I mean, how often is a multiplatform game advertised with just a ps3 box? I see the 360 box in press pictures and stuff way more often on multiplatform. I think thats what the fanboys are upset about.

I think if developers are trying to make games the exact same on every platform, they're just doing it wrong.

Take advantages of each platform, add exclusives, and you'll see better sales as well as more satisfied customers.

I can see why he may not be happy. Modern warfare is on both systems and look the same, great. But the call of duty series is associated with xbox, add in the recent trailer,the xbox logo showed up at the end. That guy may be feeling like the ps3 is being short changed because they are not pushing the fact that it is the same for the ps3 and that it does exist for the system(the general public may not realize its existance and may go end up buying xboxs to play this game)

Brie clearly has superior graphics and better exclusives to other cheeses.that's why there's no fanboy war, 'cos everyone KNOWS that's true.

I do try to stay out of these types of battles, and I have actually seen IW playing on a PS3, so I see no reason to single them out. However, when gaming sites always seem to use their 360 page to release any news about a multiplat game, 360 box art always gets used, 90% of videos are made on the 360 even on the PS3 section of their site, it is very frustrating that you rarely get to see the version of the game that YOU are actually going to play. I trust IW to make a fairly even experience across platforms, but I do not extend that trust to all of the devs out there.

I think you would be hard pressed to get Uncharted 2 or MGS4 running on the 360 simply due to the lack of storage, but the 360 makes up for that with a higher volume of really good games. Console wars are silly, but the absolute neglect of good PS3 coverage is annoying.

For my money, no fanboys will ever be as annoying as the original Xbox fanboys. I stopped paying attention to MS and Sony fanboys about a week before Killzone 2 dropped (because they're both just retarded), but NOTHING compares to the complete and utter trolltastosticy of the orignal Xbots.

Seriously, for a console that only sold 2 million more units than Gamecube did, you just couldn't post about a PS2 game ANYWHERE on Usenet without Xbot crashing the thread like you'd just slapped their mother.

I think the reason why PS3 fanboys are the worst is because the PS3 ranks last in terms of sales. So they're struck with "loosers hysteria" and become more defensive (or offensive) about their purchase.

I could've sworn that Nintendo fanboys where really bad during the last gen. In this generation however I've barely heard a beep from them, save for those few who are adamant on claiming that lackluster motion controls beats great visuals.

It happens all the time, and has happened to console users in past generations. None of this is new and hearing PS3 fanboys are the worst (just like GC/XB fanboys) is pretty damn obvious.

Based on Kotick's public about not being sure Activision will continue to support the PS3 and pretty much all the publicity being based around the 360 version of MW2, I think Bowling sounds kind of naive. "Our publisher has publicly expressed disdain for one platform and we're waving 360 boxes around--how can you possibly mistake this for a platform preference? This makes me angry!" Also, I want to imagine he sounds like the robot devil from Futurama.

If both versions have all this effort put into making them great, show off both. I mean, why not? Just toss out some PS3 gameplay like you have with the 360. It's not a huge deal because I know IW is a good developer, but there are ways to inspire more confidence.

2010 seems to be the year where fanboyism dies down a bit. I heard people alreadly call it the year of every console with all the games coming out. I guess fanboys will lose time to talk about how much other consoles are inferior because their's has the most games because they'll be too busy actually playing some games.

Shit. I remember back in the days of the Genesis vs. SNES wars I was a die-hard Nintendo fanboy because I really wanted to play all those cool games on the Genesis that I didn't have. It sucked. But I was also eight years old.

Nowadays though, there are so few exclusives that it really doesn't matter. Most everything is multi-platform, and unlike in the 16-bit era, the multi-platform games are pretty much identical on each platform. Even if they do suck a teensy bit more on the PS3 because of it's limits.

Personally, yes, I'll say I'm biased towards the Xbox for two reasons. As a gamer, I see more of the games I want to play either being exclusive to it or just performing better on it, and I like it's controller and OS compared to the PS3. Just personal preference. Also, as a game dev, I find it easier to work with and make my own games perform better on it. Frankly, Sony makes its system a bit of a pain to work with.

Does this mean that the PS3 is awful and bad and everyone who spent money on Sony's dumb-box is a idiot? No. Am I sad when a game I did want to play is a PS3-exclusive? Sure. Am I going to bitch about it? Fuck no.

Case in point: Demon's Souls. This is honestly the first PS3-exclusive that is so pants-creamingly desirable that I am willing to invest the hundreds of dollars to buy a 2nd console. None of the other exclusives, while masterful examples of their genre, have offered me such a distinctive play experience that I can't get on the system I already own.

So what am I going to do about this Demon's Souls game I want so badly? Bitch that it's not on my Xbox? Say that some Xbox RPG is superior? (There isn't one) Nope. I'm saving up some scratch and finally buying a damn PS3 so I can enjoys my games. That's what a GAMER does. And then I can finally play uncharted and killzone and whatever the fuck else I'm been holding off on.

November 3rd and that 250GB PS3 Slim can't come fast enough.

I'm a 360 fanboy so I will probably be a bit hypocritical or biased about this statement: Why do ps3 fanboys take offence to anything but clear biasim towards sony Don't they understand that it's not all about sony?

It really is a shame. I feel bad if I mention that I own a PS3, or a 360. Whenever I like an exclusive game like Uncharted 2 enough to post about it, I'm a fanboy. If I reveal that I really am tired of repairing or buying a new 360, I'm a PS3 fanboy. If I say XBOX live is the superior online service, I'm an XBOX fanboy. I'm a consumer. If you have a superior product, regardless of what your criteria for superior is, than you should buy that. Why defend a company so, unless you have you're entire life savings tied up in their stocks. Then, you're not really a fanboy, just a bad investor.

well you make descent point. but if noticed, final fanstasy went from being an exclusive to being multiplat, while cod was multiplat to begin with. If you want a better example, gta4 was multiplat from the beginning and was associated with ps3, but i do remember seeing gameplay vids and comercials where the xbox logo showed up. Even i, a guy who keeps up with these games, have trouble realizing some titles exist for ps3 because of how i always see the xbox logo in comercials. It never bothered me because, i would look into a good looking game even if i think it is a xbox exclusive. It is then i learn its coming to my system.

Idiots, The PS3 version of Modern Warfare (1) was amazing. He should have nothing to worry about. People like this need to shut their traps.
