Just a quick site update: You can now login and comment with your Facebook account. Better late than never, right? Since FB is larger than most countries and 40% of the Internet is always logged in we thought this might shave 5 seconds off your daily web commute.
If you're a lurker and have never used Dtoid, just click "Connect" and you're done. We'll import your avatar from Facebook automatically and the gates of commenting and blogging will open to you. You know the drill: Don't suck or we'll lock you in the refrigerator with the other severed heads.
Existing Dtoiders - it's easy to migrate your accounts to also login with Facebook. Here's how: First, login to your account the old way and edit your Dtoid profile to match the *primary* email address on your Facebook account. Save your changes and logout. You should now be able to login with Facebook. Otherwise if you have different emails you may end up with a dupe account, as we principally use emails to identify people.
Just a little something to make using Dtoid easier. We also improved some functionality for Opera 10 users. Next up we're improving the comments system and our photo gallery. How can we make Destructoid better for you? Suggest a feature in our feedback system and we'll hop to it!

so uh...if I post through facebook, it'll show my facebook pic and not my dtoid pic right? just wonderin since if I do want to post from FB one day, i'll know or...something.
I hope that makes sense. Basically peeps who already have a dtoid account will have their avy seperated via where they comment from right?
Aaand with that I've probably offended everybody on the internet. I regret nothing.
I am however extremely excited for the photo gallery update followed closely by my excitement for the comment system upgrade.
I think the only case is we've seen so far where it doesn't work is when you have more than 1 email on file with Facebook. We'll look into that.

I have a question not regarding Facebook, why dtoid has 2 twitter accounts?
Also @Darknii and @Niero If you do mobile Tweeting (through Android or iPhone/iPod) you can get an RSS reader app and link Destructoid's RSS feed. That works better than Twitter, most of the time.

Oh god PLEASE let this apply to the mobile users too because I have been waiting for some improvements in general and I would be oh so grateful if they were applicable to mobile users too since I've stopped logging in via PC so much due to my oh so important and busy life dealing with the rich and glamorous.

Anyways, one minor thing if anyone can help out. I'm now getting the 'condensed' version on the homepage instead of the regular view. Is this just how it looks when I'm logged in or is there a way I can fix it?
Now I can't log in with my regular account.
I have less faith... but am praying really hard! :)
