Friend of Destructoid and the frugal gamer, Cheap Ass Gamer's Cheapy D, is now the proud father of a baby boy, Tai. Born on October 20, 2007 at 11:56 AM, the future bargain hunter weighs in a 6lbs 14oz.

Congratulations are in order, from the entire crew here at Destructoid.

And as one the few married men on the Destructoid staff, I just have to say: Honey, don't go getting any ideas just yet -- Cheapy has yet to let us in on any Rock Band deals, and that can cut into a child's college fund.

Seriously, though, congrats on a healthy baby boy! May he be blessed with the money-saving, deal-seeking instincts of his father...and become potty-trained and start speaking full sentences within a year. Just try to keep him from hollering obscenities over Xbox LIVE until at least 2020.

Mixed blood kids are adorable! Congrats dude, the wife and I can't wait to start making my own someday soon :) I can't wait to have kids...I want three so we can play splitscreen...and when they're in highschool they can get jobs so I won't have to buy all the games.
