I'd really like to get one for my birthday (end of june), but there's not that much that interests me now that I know will be available by the time I would get my 3DS. so far it seems like we only know of the launch title's release dates, and not much after that. I want to know when zelda gets released, or mario kart, or paper mario! or MGS, THOSE are the games I want!

I'm a Sony gamer, but I don't think anyone could deny that something like this would happen. They must be trolling, you got to learn to ignore stupid people and comments like that...

Or at least surpasses expected sales! Of course I want Sony to do better, but I don't want Nintendo to fail! If theres no competition, then theres no motivation to make better games and systems!

@PEICanada7 I don't think even the Sony fanboys could say that this wouldn't sell well. They're probably just saying that it doesn't interest them. Like myself an assured Sony enthusiast. I'm not interested in the software, but new hardware does get me interested though. Maybe if I see it in action in person I'll change my mind. But I think Sony has my loyalty at this point, especially with all the digital copies of my psp games working day one on the ngp.
Also, I think the 3D is really cool, but I realist that most of the time when I'm playing my psp on the couch or something I play with one eye closed, I didn't even realise it until just recently. But who knows maybe nintendo can get me back ( the last time I had a current gen nintendo console was the 64) maybe they're due.

Happy I got mine on pre-order. If this is going to be anything like the Wii it's going to be a pain to get for the first year or two.
@PEICanada there you go trolling again. All those sony "fanboys" never denied nintendos success with the 3DS. If I had to pick which one appealed to me more, I'm going with the NGP. The only reason nintendo gets no backlash for the 3DS is because the nintendo faithful are nostalgic. All nintendo had to do to get ppl to buy this was announce Ocarina of Time in 3D. Really? That's the top title for a brand new handheld. A game that came out in 1998. I love that game, but not enough to buy a $250 handheld to play it. The launch lineup for this thing is bad even by system launch standards.

If you read the other 3DS launch post, that Dale made earlier, than you would see the “Sony Defense Force” claiming that the 3DS was selling bad;y, because people weren't lining up for it without preorders. So how is that me trolling? I was just pointing out the stupidity of others. If that's trolling, than everyone on the internet is a troll, including yourself!

I always seem to make a bad impression the first time I join a community. I'm not really myself, I don't know how to act, I don't know peoples humor, or how the site works, and I fall victim to trolls. And when all that happens, I tend to become an ass hole :/

The only two ways I would buy a DS if 1) it was irrevocably mass-hacked so i could get games for free or 2) I start making money. I'm goign to go with the first one being a much more likely scenario.

Yes, it`s true. I bet true gamers socialize between them live almost only on occasions like these ones described here in this article. The gamers communities are atypical social groups. I am a passionate games, however I have a keen observation that senses all the particularities between this case and random social groups. We somehow belong to the unseen, to the unknown, but we activate on full potential in your small circles. And we appreciate one another for loyalty and commitment to a common passion.
