Confirmed: Green Arrow wears green in DC Universe Online photo

Funny thing about Green Arrow -- he wears green, but he certainly isn't an arrow. I mean, his arrows aren't even green. So maybe this name should be Guy In Green Who Shoots Arrows And Has A Fancy Goatee or something? I don't know. 

Whatever the case, the Justice League of America stalwart has been revealed as a character that will appear in Sony Online Entertainment's DC Universe Online. He'll be bringing his bow and arrow along, and according to SOE, "enhanced strength and stamina" are "matched only by his politics." Right.

We're not much for talking politics, but entering a world of heroes and villains to beat things up sounds about our speed. The MMO is set for release on PC and PlayStation 3 sometime next year.

I hope DC Universe is awesome. I've really gotten more into DC comics then Marvel over the past few years.

There's no way I can play this game, knowing that none of DC's famous characters can be killed off by my custom character. 'Tis a shame, too, as I would give my custom character the totally original name Juggernetorinepool. Oh so original.

Green Arrow and Hawkman should be on Meet The Press. I also don't like the hooded costume, it's been a while since I stepped into a comic book store did they go back to the hood or did they do that because of (FRIGGIN!!) Smallville?

The hooded look's been around since the "Longbow Hunters" mini. And was used steadily through the original series. And I gotta gree with S0le, an Olliie-Carter shouting match in game would be awesome. That or having him hit on any female original character.
