Earlier today we learned that Epic Games is offering players the chance to kill or spare Gears of War 3's addition to the growing (and terminal) Carmine family. Judging from these new images, in which Clayton is shown off to be some sort of incredible asskicker, I have a feeling fans will not be wanting him to die any time soon.
One can't blame Clayton for creating that huge pile of dead Locust, really. Considering what the horde have done to the rest of his family, it's hardly surprised he's written "Grub Killer" on his chestplate and likes to mow down as many Locust as he can with his giant tommygun.
Speaking as a big fan of previous Carmines, this one looks incredible. I might have to toss my vote into the "Save him" pile!

So bully for them having people only both sides of the fence interested in the outcome. I hope this picks up enough steam to really generate some charity. I doubt I'll throw my own vote in, since I never have any Microbucks. But I was thinking about going out to buy a point card for Limbo - so maybe if there's enough left over, it could go to a good cause.
Too bad their whole sleeveless look still looks horrendous.

But since this is a PR spectacle, there is gonna be alot of teasing and close calls when it comes to his death. Like that guy having to lose his arm in, "Hot Tube Time Machine"

1) He dies and his brother, D. Carmine shows up, goes on a roaring rampage, jumps down an emergence hole, and then kills every single Locust that was in it. And then does this every single time you ever run into an emergence hole in the game ever again.
2) He goes out in an insane blaze of glory, duel-wielding lancers while riding a Brumak and lobbing grenades with his dick. Oh, and then punches a Berserker to death.
3) Mama Carmine shows up and avenges her children by winning the game for you. In multiplayer, a combination of motherly grief and having raised the Carmines gives her invincibility and the ability to sternly stare Locust into submission.

I've wanted GOW 3 ever since I finished GOW 2... I don't know what you're talking about.
Dude, I'm a massive fan of the gears franchise and all my hopes are going towards gears 3 being a kick ass games. I only stopped playing gears 1 because gears 2 came out.
My comment is what you would call an open comment, the idea was that it only applied to those who are fickle and clearly that isn't you but I apologise if you thought I was directing that personally at you.
I just think it's funny that the game is full of muscle bound "space marines and it gets slammed" for it.....then there's a t-shirt comp to decide the fate of a new muscle bound "sace marine" and people suddenly u-turn and go apeshit.
Once again, sorry if you thought that was directed at you. :)
