Composer says he's working on Bully 2 photo

A music composer has made the first mention of a sequel to Rockstar's notorious Bully, claiming he is working on the music to a new addition of the school-based rebellion simulator. Shawn Lee composed the music for the original game, and recently said in an interview that a follow up is on the way.

"It looks like I will be doing the soundtrack for Bully 2 in the not so distant future," claims Lee.

Bully sold reasonably well when it was released on the PS2, and eventually re-released on the Wii and Xbox 360 as Bully: Scholarship Edition. Elements of controversy included the game's title (it was renamed Canis Canum Edit in the UK), the violent content, and the fact that protagonist Jimmy Hopkins can kiss boys, which would obviously cause America to plunge into a cesspool of Hellish immorality, even though it didn't.

A sequel will likely cause just as much trouble, but it'll probably be a lot of fun.

Thats nice to hear. I thought Bully was a decent game that should have gotten a sequel a while ago.

YAAAY!!!!

I loved Bully. It was so good and it's such a rarely used setting in the context that Bully used it in. After GTA IV I'm finally really starting to get what Rockstar is capable of. Last gen I wasn't too impressed but Bully was a winner.

Bully was one of my TOP PS2 games for sure.

I warmly welcome, and already look forward to a sequel.

Bring it on Rockstar

YES!

I only played through Bully once, but I tore it up over a weekend. Really excellent game from last generation that doesn't get talked about often.

Bully was such an underrated game, played it to death on PS2, Xbox 360 and PC. One of their best.

Praise Rockstar!

And I swear, if you put SecuROM on the PC version...hell to pay!

I could give a shit about another Bully game, but Shawn Lee's soundtrack to the first one is fan-freaking-tastic, so this is good news.

autjdkghbrhyjnbadrjgvbn I've been hoping for Bully 2 since the first one came out for PS2. Oh my god. And here people were like FFFFF- no Bully 2. Oh my god. I've not been this excited about a game being announced since L4D2, in June.

OOOOHHH MYYYYYYY GOOOODDDDD! I don't know what to be more excited about: that they're making a Bully 2 (one of my top 5 fave games of all time) or that they got Shawn Lee to do soundtrack again! My Wednesday is officially made.

The main theme for Bully was stuck in my head for days after beating it! This is exciting news since Bully is one of my most favorite games. I'm usually happy with my PS3, but hearint Bully: Scholarship edition was coming out for the Wii and 360 was one of the very rare times that I wished I had a 360 or Wii. This is indeed very exciting news

Awesome.

I loved the first Bully, and I'm sure the second would be just as great as the first one was. You couldn't really kiss boys though, just that one really flamboyant boy. Anyone who's played it knows who I'm talking about.

I never played Bully, but I have Shawn Lee's Bully soundtrack. It was a free download on eMusic some time ago... it's pretty good!

I own the PC version and I just couldn't finish it. All of the quests were so redundant and it looked and played like a GTA mod. Rockstar seems to only be able to make GTA and GTA clones.

Excellent. I hope to see more quality writing to go with the fun in this title.

Also, from a Day 1 360 port player. Test the damn thing before you ship it. Delayed working game > Broken game with an on-time release.
