Just released today, it appears that someone has already completed Mass Effect Galaxy, the iPhone tie-in to BioWare’s Xbox 360 and PC title.
Completing the game for completions sake is so two years ago, as finishing Galaxy rewards you with something for the unreleased Mass Effect 2.
“Your reward for completing the game is already waiting for you in Mass Effect 2,” gamers who finish the game are told.
The reward is transferred to Mass Effect 2 by tying Galaxy to your EA.com account. What is it? Who knows. Joystiq suggests its a weapon or armor for Galaxy’s main character, Jacob Taylor, who appears as a companion character in Mass Effect 2.
But is this reward worth the $4.99 you’ll need to shell out for Mass Effect Galaxy? We haven’t tried it out yet, so if you’ve spent the dough, let us know*.

sorry, I'm just bugged when people write stuff like that last sentence.
Considering the pedigree of cell phone games these days, I'm pleased. The production values are good, and it features the Mass Effect mythos prominently. However, it's still a shallow top-down shooter, mostly just good for a few hours of mindless amusement.
But, if you play our other game, you get a little undescribed bonus.
How much do you love your Shepard? $4.99 love?
That said, I kinda wish I had an iPhone
Not that fun. Kinda sucky. 3/10.
This is the first time I've ever had an unkind thought about you.
There's a way around that tax (especially on PC), and for you Gamerscore-junkies, I rather doubt Microsoft will let EA make prior titles a condition of your precious 1000/1000.
There's always one that has to take it too far ain't there!
