That's actually pretty awesome. Thanks Sean! :D
tl;dr: fuck you, raging fanboys. You make gaming sucky for everyone.
@The Sama: You're just saying that because you lost your wiener.
That's a pretty god damn good .gif
I am impressed by that .gif
'PC gaming as an experience is the best way to game'
Your comment made sense until you stated the above. Claiming that 'gaming as an experience is the best way to game' is akin to me claiming that Nickelback are the best band there has ever been and ever will be, which is not true.
@jimmyx
Maybe one day you will realize that the reason people attack you so much is because you are the biggest fanboy on the site. Seriously, Biohazard got banned pretty quickly but this child is allowed to continuously troll. At least Biohazard had better spelling and sentence structure, jimmyx's posts always make my eyes bleed.
I'm revoking your ability to revoke people's ability to call other people fanboys if you think "PC gaming as an experience is the best way to game"
Seriously dude we all have different opinions/taste in what could be considered the best way to game!
Thanks, Sean Daisy, for the healthy reminder that you are always watching. Always.
Just writing this comment has made me violently sick out of my butt.
I've got 12p. DM me your address and I'll wing it your way, no expense spared! 2nd class.
Case in Point: The Witcher. No matter how much ram you throw at The Witcher, the game is still shit on a broken stick.
can't be, mattrodroid was never this funny.
mattrodroid was never funny at all.
Mattoroid isn't funny - ever - like, in the months and month he's been commenting - not funny one time.
Mattoroid Prime is a different person.
This probably isn't the thread to get into this, but you can only claim PC gaming is a better experience if your idea of "better experience" is solely predicated on how pretty a game looks. For most of us, there's a lot more to it than that.
I'll speak from my own experience. I prefer my PS3 because I can relax on the couch while playing. My computer chair isn't nearly as comfy. I can use my 60" HD tv with my PS3. I can use my 5.1 surround sound system with my PS3. It's simply more comfortable and convenient to use my PS3.
Now, everything I just mentioned is absolutely possible with the PC as well. However, I think you'll find that most people have their living room set up around the couch and television, not their PC. Thus to play PC games in the manner I described, I'd need to set up a tray table in front of my couch with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I find that annoyingly inconvenient and unrealistic.
So yeah, I think you'll find there's a lot more criteria than just purty graphix that determine the quality of a gaming experience.
allow me to briefly counter your argument: for all intents and purposes my PC may as well be a superpowered 360 which i don't have to bother putting disks into. 360 pad, 5.1, projector, couch.
it's a "better experience" for me because it's pretty much the same experience, but with better graphics and higher framerates.
Mods, dedicated servers, support for old games, free netplay, more active communities, the ability to tweak virtually any setting in a game, graphic or otherwise; there's a whole host of reasons why PC games are great!

Gamepads?
Hell yes, PC games absolutely ARE great. Been a PC gamer since 1990. Wouldn't give it up for anything. Just saying there's reasons to prefer alternatives.
As for the gamepads thing, please don't suggest this around the hardcore pc gamer crowd. They go ballistic when you suggest they give up their mouse and keyboard. That kind of thing will get you crucified.
