Comments of the Week: Featuring marshmallow in thong photo

Hot or sinister? Let your own dirty mind decide.

Comments of the Week is a feature where we scour the front page, community blogs, forums, social media and sexy confection looking for comments. The ones that make you think, the ones that make you laugh and the ones that make you cry (but also laugh), and consolidate them into an entertaining package for the viewing pleasure of you, the Destructoid community.

Comments will fall into three categories:

TRUTH: Marshmallow...

LOL: ...with a smiley face...

WUT? ...in a thong.

From Xenoblade CONFIRMED for North America

It's great to have news that everyone is generally elated about!

And now, news with the opposite effect:

From Oh, EA: Subscription charges added to Tetris mobile app

From the article:
"Oh, EA! What have you cheeky scamps gone and done now? It would seem you've added a subscription service to a Tetris app of all things. Now why would you go and do something as positively zany as that?

Electronic Arts has released a new version of Tetris for iOS that comes with an optional "T-Club" membership. The membership costs $29.99 per year and will include additional in-game content and faster leveling up for your profile. In addition to such pedestrian goods, subscribers will also earn discounts on future downloadable content.

Yes ... DLC ... for f*cking Tetris. And paying EA money gets you a discount on it. I ... just ... what ... WHAT!?"

However, some people were less upset than others...

From Gearbox is casting an IRL Lilith for Borderlands 2

In other news, this fanart picture of Lilith from Darkstalkers is terrifying:

From The Daily Hotness: Skyrim serial killer

Don't make me take off my utility belt...

Wait did someone say Jim Sterling?

Yes you did. YES YOU DID. Don't make me a liar.

From Jim Sterling

From Wow today I

Hey, if you did something new today then why don't you log into the forums and tell them about it? Make sure to post an introduction in meet and greet if you are new though; nobody likes a forum crasher.

I'm off to put more confectionary in underwear. See you next week.

Which of these looks most like Mii?

There are a lot of weird quirks brought about by existence. One of them is that we all exist in varying relationship to other people, particularly larger than life figures. But larger than life figures aren't even exempt. As ...more

Forget zombies, bears are the best part of H1Z1

H1Z1 is a game about surviving the zombie apocalypse. It should be a game about surviving the bear apocalypse, because they are way fucking scarier than any zombie. But, maybe that hits too close to home since bears migh...more

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is out today, and it kicks the crap out of All the Bravest

Final Fantasy: All the Bravest was a travesty. It played itself, it was pretty abrasive in its pandering, and the microtransactions were so pushy that it was hard to enjoy it without feeling like you were constantly being sold something. Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is another free-to-play game in the same vein, but it's a much better effort that doesn't feel straight-up insulting to fans.more
