Comments of the Week: Em Double-Yew Triple Funbus! photo

Get ready for the happiest comments on earth!

Comments of the Week is a feature where we scour the front page, community blogs, forums, social media and the Dictaphone recorded banshee cries of the damned picking out comments. The ones that make you think, the ones that make you laugh and the ones that make you cry (but also laugh), and consolidate them into an entertaining package for the viewing pleasure of you, the Destructoid community.

Comments will fall into three categories:

TRUTH: Justice, and the American way.

LOL: lipop, lollipop mmm lolly lollipop.

War: WUT? is it good for? Absolutely nothin'. (Sing it again)

From Why should Gamecube owners go to hell? Here's why not.

Dear Sara. Here is a link to a Wikipedia article about satire. It will deftly illustrate the style of writing Jim was using.

From The Bar

I really hate it when where did you come from, where did you go, where did you come from Cotton-Eye Joe? that happens.

From Venting anger

Hey; girls like honesty, right?

The following comments have been screened through a new product called Commentomile Tea. It makes every comment much more palatable. Let's witness the fitness:

From Review: Modern Warfare 3

You witty little buggers!

From Youtube

Great video from TheYoungScot on Why Jim Sterling is wrong about all things, but mainly MW3. You have to click on the link this time. You lazy, lazy people.

From How dare you

So graphics and gameplay aren't based on opinion? Everyone enjoys exactly the same genres and experiences as everyone else?

I don't know about that.

Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-That's all folks! *drops mic*

*picks up mic* oh, one more thing. Do you ever find yourself saying "where is comment x Sean? You are a terrible person for missing that one!"

If so, here is a Suggestion Box. It's a private community blog that you can add your suggestions for next week's Comments of The Week to. It includes some instructions on how to suggest a comment. If I use it next week, you will be credited!

So don't say I never give you anything.

Comments not appearing? Anti-virus apps like Avast or some browser extensions can cause this.
Easy fix: Add   [*].disqus.com   to your software's white list. Tada! Happy comments time again.

Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.

I've discovered a new go-to game for relaxing

I play videogames for many reasons. Sometimes, I play for the story -- the chance to visit new worlds and live out someone else's life. Other times, it's the sense of competition I find most alluring, or the chance to master ...more

BioWare is working to specifically differentiate Dragon Age: Inquisition from Dragon Age II

When I entered BioWare's offices and had a chance to speak to the game's Executive Producer and Studio GM, I had one goal in mind -- to find out how Dragon Age: Inquisition was going to be more like Origins, and les...more
