I don't know exactly why The Darkness reminds me so much of Max Payne, but so far it does. Maybe it's the gloom of the game or maybe the noir-ish atmosphere, I don't know. What I do know is that the graphics, especially the animations, are looking really good. Enjoy this short gameplay video from the Comic Con 07.

My question is, was the first part of the video actual gameplay, or rather an ingame cut scene that eventually meshed into the gameplay we saw towards the end?
If that was actual gameplay at the beginning and they managed to get the AI to work that nicely in terms of hiding and reacting, then we are certainly in for a treat... but I really doubt that.
Im very excited for this game. Velcro: It will be on the PS3 also. Nick Brutal should be getting an interview hopefully with the developers at the Con.
harelo is right, the ps3 screens from ign, i m p r e s s i v e. a wii version would be pretty hardcore, especially if you could control whatever the hell those tentacle things are.

However I hope that the A.I. is a little more challenging when the final version comes out.
