Come watch Volition play Red Faction: Guerrilla live photo

It's been a long time coming, but Red Faction: Guerrilla is rapidly approaching its retail debut (June 2 for 360 and PS3). It's not very often that I am able stay hyped for a game for more than a year, as I usually lose interest right near the end, but there's just something about this damned game that I can't put my finger on.

It's ... fun. Yep, it's f**king fun; that must be it. As a matter of fact, that alongside the Ostrich Hammer should be the only two bullet points on the back of Guerrilla's box. If you share in even a fraction of my excitement, I've got some cool news to share.

Between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM EDT tomorrow, May 29, developer Volition will be doing a live broadcast on Justin.tv of the game with full commentary. Since there's a live chat, you'll also be able to submit questions and possibly yell obscenities at the crew. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways. Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
