I sometimes feel like the only person on here who likes this game. DX
Beachhead is apparently in charge of Elite, and they've been fumbling their part of the MW3 ball worse than Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, and Raven have been managing combined.
Mind, having *four* developers working on a title is pretty bad in its own right. (Infinity Ward for single/spec-ops, Sledgehammer for multiplayer, Raven for maps, Beachhead for Elite is I think how it breaks down?) Though it probably goes a long way in explaining why the game is so problem-riddled, when Activision couldn't trust less than four different groups to complete it.
I'm a big fan of the game, too. It's highly addicting, though for me I play it more for the social aspects (I have five IRL friends that we team up weekly to play over XBL).
"I think I'll just hold off from buying ELITE, and just wait until the map packs. Makes more sense..."
why, because it'll cost you more money that way? how does that make sense? if you're planning on buying all the map packs, just get elite, save yourself a few bucks, AND get the maps early.
While I understand what you're proving, you seem to be under the impression that I'll be buying all of the map packs. Unfortunately, you are wrong. I do not plan to purchase all of the packs. We could argue about what map each is worth and calculate that into the overall price of the map packs, but I won't bother.
But, you're statement makes sense, and has made me think about investing in ELITE. So, thanks.
