We’re all excited about the toucans that Haemimont Games is bringing along with Tropico 3 when it hits the Xbox 360 and PC later this year. But PC gamers can get a head start on the toucan-action – the closed beta will begin on July 13.
The game’s publisher Kalypso Media has informed us that interested parties can start signing up now. So by all means, go do that thing, in preparation for becoming El Presidente of your very own banana republic.
If you’re upset that Tropico’s original developer PopTop aren’t on board for this sequel, Kalypso and Haemimont want you to relax. They’re saying that “Tropico 3 returns the hit strategy series to its roots by closely following the storyline of the original title in the series.” Do you believe them?
