My Commander Shepard is a space Soldier, a bullet-eater and sprayer. He doesn’t give two Krogan turds what’s in front of him. He’s going to kill it. Hard.
Most other classes can’t roll like my Shepard does. They don’t have the overbite, the scars, or the aggressive abilities. But they do just fine in their own cute ways. Just take a look at Mass Effect 2’s space rogue, the Infiltrator. It uses a mixture of tech and long-range weaponry to destroy enemies. Even better, it now comes with cloaking magic that should prove handy in a variety of situations.
I've been playing the game as a female Infiltrator. Though it's fun to snipe around, it definetly isn't the best class, and it ends up being a "jack of all trades". It's really nice to see they are makeing each class more unique, I think I will play with my female infiltrator save if I buy this game. :)
This is the class played on my first ME run. Good to see they added something to make sniping and sneaking more plausible in close quarters. Those one room two-story buildings were pretty much the bane of my existance.
Interesting but ME2 doesn't seem like a game where sniping would be particularly fun. I honestly would've never guessed there even was a sniper class. Rayne Shepard rolls straight up shotgun style.
@KrazyKraut: I think ads on this site are getting out of hand. 4 flash ads in each page, in addition to those who come up when you play some videos, some of which you can't get rid of and obscure the video, and now you have unskippable ads before the video...
To be honest none of these classes will compare to the power of the VANGUARD. No seriously why do you think they haven't reaveled it yet? hmmmm saving the best for last I think?
Man, if this is what the Infiltrator can do, I cannot wait to see how insanely powerful the Vanguard will be. Out of the two hybrids, I always perferred Vanguard, but that's probably because none of the Tech skills were so useful that I couldn't simply have Garrus/Tali take care of it.
Still, glad to see the Infiltrator can actually infiltrate now. Combine that with feasible close-combat survivability (which the ME1 Infiltrator had none) and it looks like Bioware is really trying to make all the classes more unique.

Vanguard is great because its a soldier/biotic mix mainly pistols and shotguns with warp, lift and throw biotics. You're not a weak biotic but a good mix. Although I'm tempted for the new re-vamps to biotic and engineer classes.
Zomg, and to think I was switching class from Infiltrator to Sentinel. I may now just have to keep my old infiltrator around.
Also, Vanguard might beat Infiltrator.....if he could fire his gun, or had shields, oh and could get inside sniper range without dieing. Now add, he'd have to see me first to the list.
Heh also explosive rounds on a sniper rifle was always amusing, sure you used to overheat in a single shot but hey find a group of enemies, assassination + shoot one, watch all 6 die in a fiery burst. Also adding shotguns made him the perfect warrior nothing like disabling a bunch of enemies, rushing in, shottying them up, popping immunity, and finishing the rest.

yeah... thats terrible. hope viddler will change it....

Actually, the spelling is correct.
You see, the Infiltrator wears blusher.
Also, hurray! The Infiltrator can actually infiltrate now!
