So, Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski has been tweeting lately, and unless he's setting us up, there may be a Jazz Jackrabbit-related announcement in store for us soon. At least, one can hope. I'll let you be the judge.
"Thursday is going to be Jazzy," he writes. "...might even be rabbity..." Clearly someone with his level of Twitter, uh, cred wouldn't waste two perfectly good tweets on a joke. Clearly. It'd be cool to see Jazz Jackrabbit on iDevices/XBLA/PlayStation Network/Steam, wouldn't it?
Hopefully Epic agrees.

Why wouldn't you want a new third-person Jazz Jackrabbit, complete with a cover mechanic and chainsaw guns?
I even have the Jazz Jackrabbit 3d beta from a long time ago. I'm not sure if that ever ended up being leaked to the internet or not, although I'm assuming it probably did.
I'm pumped although a simple port to some portable console wouldn't be that exciting. I'd like to see a full on 2d platformer sequel, possibly on XBLA and whatnot. I'm excited, excited, excited now.
