ClapTrap's Robot Revolution coming to Borderlands photo

2K Games has announced a brand new add-on pack to the hit FPS RPG Borderlands. It's called ClapTrap's Robot Revolution, and it charges players with the task of taking down a rebellious robot known as the Ninja Assassin. An army of ClapTraps wages war against the Hyperion Corporation, and players are stuck in the middle.

Twenty new missions will be included in the DLC, along with new robot-flavored enemies including Crab-traps, Skag-traps and Raak-traps. Two more skill points can be earned and players can nab an extra three backtrap slots for extra loot carrying fun.

Robot Revolution will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this September, where it'll cost $9.99.

It must be Gearbox day. And thats by no means a complaint. Looking forward to more Borderlands. For what was a essentially a twitch shooter, that game hit all the right spots for me.

For us, the day A new Borderlands add-on was announced was the greatest day of my life. But for Gearbox, it was Wednesday. Would've worked alot better if it were yesterday. And this WAS a part of Rev's plan to throw us off. Clever Girl

I really wish there was some way they could add some more gun models to the game. One of my problems with Borderlands is that by level 20 you've pretty much seen all the guns the game has to offer.

Funny "Viva la Robolution" is a saying among Veenezuelans who are protesting againts the revolutionary socialist government of Hugo Chavez. They say "Viva la Robolucion" which means "log live the Theft hood revolution" Robo in Spanish means to steal or rob, no to be confused with short for Robot in English.

What would be awesome? This DLC lets you co-op as Claptraps. I can see it now...DTOID FNF filled with nothing but: "CHECK ME OUT, I'M DANCING, I'M DANCING!" and robot farts.

10 Skills but no levels? I guess that makes sense, it's just weird. Still, Ninja Claptrap is where it should have been all along. Fuck the other stuff (especially the main game and Moxxi).

I hope they'll fix the no-scaling issue which the last DLC caused. Killing level 51 enemies with my level 61 soldier is seriously unfulfilling.

I'm still loving the original game and I haven't started any of the DLC yet. I've got it on PC and it's such a genius game. I should really play through it properly and get going on all the DLC

If I were made out of chocolates, it would bring all the girls to the yard.

At first it would be all about the licks, but after about the third time around..

You would have wished those girls were in their 80's, primed and ready to gnaw on you with their gums.

The new DLC will not fix the scaling issue.... The good news is a free patch will be fixing the scaling issue and bonus will also add 8 levels. This is straight from the Gearbox team at PAX. The patch is planned for sometime between the DLC release and the GOY edition. Oh BTW the release date is the 28th of Sept.
