In my recent preview of Borderlands, I made a few passing references to Claptrap, "a talking-robot that looks like a filthy, low-rent version of Star Wars’ R2D2 that glides on one wheel."
What I failed to mention was how awesome Claptrap is. Like, I think about him all of the time awesome. Despite not being a central character in the game in the game's story (so far that I've noticed), the robotic guide has enough charm and wit that I have little doubt he'll become a gamer favorite when Borderlands is released this October.
In this first in a series of "Making of Borderlands" videos, Claptrap takes a page from the book of Christian Bale, and in the process melts our hearts. Check it out.

waited all year for fallout3 dlc to come to ps3, and they finally do a week before Borderlands is released?
weak - so it gets bought used in 3 months for 30 dollars.
