Civilization IV: The Complete Edition announced photo

Are you ready to get your strategy on? 2K Games has announced Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, a collection of Civ IV plus the expansions, and it's hitting North American retailers next Tuesday. Don't you love these stealth releases? They make the wait so much easier.

Priced at $39.99 and completely free of DRM, The Complete Edition includes the core game, Warlords, Beyond the Sword, and Colonization. Not a bad offering in the least bit, I would say.

While any and all Civilization games are not permitted in this household out of fear that their addictive nature will cause me to forget to eat and ultimately starve to death, I highly recommend those who haven't played Civilization IV pick this package up.

Awesome. I may actually pick up a disc version of this now instead of waiting for a weekend deal on Steam, especially since this will come with Colonization.

Lolwat? They tossed Colonization in there? That's not even part of Civ IV, despite the game title. I guess they can't get anyone to buy it on it's own though. Civ IV + Warlords + BTS is fucking awesome though.

So, of course now that the complete Civ IV is in one easy to grab package, Civ V will release within the next year.

I'd get it, but this seems so old. Didn't Civ 4 originally come out like 4 years ago? I feel like I beat it a lifetime ago....

I'm already up to my eyeballs in Total War games anyways. I'm not sure I need to waste even more time conquering the world....

Why are there two robocops in the picture and not even one of his partner?

Awesome Robocop poster. It was created for the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema showing of Robocop last year. More info here:

Don't bother trying to buy one, they're sold out. And you can't have mine.

It's only a matter of time before Civ 5 is announced...

Civ 5 may be the most complex game ever to be released unto mankind.
At least, I'm hoping.

They already released a Civ IV Complete. It just doesn't include Colonization. It can be found for £10 on Amazon. Colonization really isn't worth the extra monies.
