In case you're wondering what's different, Gods and Kings adds nine new civilizations, new wonders, and new scenarios/units (including one scenario that basically recreates the beginning of Gladiator).
The re-addition of religions alone is what sparked my interest in the game, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. Also, Neuschwanstein!
