Chop! Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic coming to PSN April 9 photo

If you're the kind of person who likes making dolls kick the crap out of each other, mark April 9 on your calendar. That's the day Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastics will be hitting the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3.

A quasi-sequel to the 2005 PC title Rag Doll Kung Fu, the game has a party-feel, and looks to be an over-the-top homage to 70s kung fu cinema. The trailer manages to not uses Carl Douglas' "Kung Fu Fighting," thankfully; instead, they have their own little catchy's disco number. The game will feature support for trophies, and if the trailer is any indication, an ass-kicking Sackboy.

It might be a bit of a let down for some gamers, but Rag Doll Kung Fu won't feature online multiplayer. The game's producer, Josh Miller, nothing the complexities of the title's physics engine, says the developer (Tarsier Studios) found "that technically it could not be done." The good news is that Miller has also confirmed a playable demo for the title, so you can find out for yourself if the lack of online multiplayer is really a dealbreaker.

If you're wondering where the trailer is, it's at the link provided in the news.

Not a fan of 'rag doll' games. Can blame all the lame ass rag doll flash games for that. Might try out the demo, though. Unlikely anything will take the place of SFIV for a long while for fighting games, though.

Ugh... that really hurts. I so wanted to play people from destructoid at this game.

Does it not use the same physics engine as Little Big Planet? I think maybe online multiplayer could kind of sort of technically be done in that game.

I don't know if it's worth it for me. I might have to start luring people over to my house with candy.

Sweet, delicious candy...

this looks so disturbing. They look like skeletons except for the head, hands, and feet.
