Penny Arcade has truly outdone themselves -- their 4th annual Child's Play fund raised a whopping half million dollars in toys, games, and those bound printout things for children's hospitals nationwide already. Unlike most lame fundraisers which consist of waspy women vengefully spending their husband's play money, their upcoming auction is genuinely going to excite a lot of gamers. For example, the event will "offer once-in-a-lifetime items including an appearance in a Penny Arcade comic strip, a speaking line in Halo 3" ... (ZOMG!) and tickets to the Halo 3 launch party. Plus zome ugly Zune ztuff.
While there's a ton of great stuff to bid on, I know most of us don't have the disposable income to fight with yuppies over this stuff -- but if we all give a little it adds up. Hit the jump to see what it's all about and how you can get involved.

"its sad when 20% of the money goes to them"
Are you talking about the Penny Arcade guys? Because they don't take any of it. What people buy goes to the hospital directly and any money that's donated goes towards buying the stuff on the list.
