Check your PS3 Trophies by iPhone with new app photo

I guess the PS3 equivalent of a 360 achievement whore is a trophy slut. Or something like that. At any rate, if you relate to those words and also own an iPhone, the newest app from UIEvolution may be just what you had in mind: a free way to track any and everything relating to trophies on your iPhone.

The PS3 Trophy Guide is basically a comprehensive guide to all the trophies you can possibly earn and also includes game descriptions, trailers, stats and more. It's hard for me to really relate to the relevance of the app since I am not much of a trophy or achivement gamer -- I tend to take achievements as more of a happy surprise than anything else -- but it seems people really enjoy earning them. Would you use an app like this, or are you more in my boat?

I amazes me that some people actually play games only to get all the trophies or achievements just so they can show off how much games they completed and wave their e-penis around. Let's not even talk about those guys who try to get the highest gamer tag score and be number 1.

"Never be lost in a game again in your quest for trophies"

If that's the main reason why you're playing the game, your priorities are really out of whack.

thats a really kool App. I am a bit of a trophy whore, it passes the time looking up and comparing other peoples trophies with mine. Too bad I don't have an Iphone, if I did I would probably use this.

It's kinda useless. I mean, if I really really want to know what the ????? Trophies are. I look them up on the net, at first glance I thought it tracked YOUR trophies and stats. But it's bland and uninteresting, just telling you the same information the PS3 does except on your iphone... (or touch)
>kicks ground disappointed<

what I dont really understand is the sort of nutcases who badmouth achievements all day on the forums across the internet..then refuse to buy a game if it doesnt have trophies.

i love trophies and really go hunting on my 2nd playthrough. achievements are great but i love the leveling aspect of the psn trophies, i believe it will have to go into the psn of the ps4 because i just don't believe in this generation anyone can get up to level 100. shit, with the cumulative aspect of it, it may take over 12000 trophies just to get to level 20!

That's pretty cool. I like trophies. They make the game last longer, which gives you more for your dollar.

I dont have an iphone, but if I did, this would be nice just so you don't have to bounce between the trophy screen and the game.

I'd be a trophy slut if I could actually buy some games once in awhile.

It's weird for me. On my PS3, trophies are nothing but a nice surprise when I do something within the criteria and I'll never bother to look them up, or even show any interest in gaining them at all. On 360, however, I'm a total achievement whore. I'll go deliberately out of my way to secure an achievement, and make godknows how many duplicate saves to ensure I won't miss one I know is coming up. And the overall satisfaciton I get from 1000/1000 a game is just wondrous.

Anywho, I'll take a gander at this app nonetheless.
