Home #LittleBigPlanet

We can't post videos of all of the user-created LittleBigPlanet levels, but when a good one like this shows up, we have to feature it.

A Street Fighter fan pulled out all the stops to make this level in LBP. The stage opens to a cartoonish Blanka and Zhangief having a nice little boy nap together. The highlight is Ken and Ryu dueling. It seems that the fight is controlled by jumping on the switches at the bottom of the screen. They even fire off hadouken attacks, though it sounds like Ryu is hacking up furballs when he does it.

I won't spoil the ending, but when the player stomps on the super move buttons, someone gets their ass kicked.

GameTrailers poster RelentlessRolento (great name, BTW) says that the stage is called "Street Fighter Wonky," and that the level template is an unlockable item in the level. Nice!

After the jump, check out another LBP level, this time parodying Duck Hunt!

This imo fall under faitr use. It's not like a level like that is bad for the respective brand. I,d say it's paying homage.

Please let people make cool mario level, sonic or whatever they want. If anything it's free publicity.

Wow, RR's Street Fighter level is getting around. It was posted on the Capcom Unity blog a few days ago and now it's posted on Dtoid.

Neat.

What are the odds these two levels will survive moderation, though? Both steal graphic assests and lampoon other games. Although I agree it's just paying homage, moderators haven't seemed to care.

Also, am I the only one who thinks those levels look terribly boring to actually play? Sure, they're cute. Of course the people who made them are clever. But fun? *shakes head*

argh crappy LBP videos yet again. i'm talking about the held hand shakiness of it.

why LBP doesn't have YouTube integration like PixelJunk games and others is a huge mystery to me...

The street fighter level is utter crap and I dunno why it is getting featured all over the net (is he paying all you people? There are much better levels that deserve a feature than this).

Also It has no game play, no point to it and is too simple for my liking for a technical showcase. So I dunno why everyone is reporting on it.

Anywho... on the other hand...

The DUCK HUNT level however is AMAAAAAZINGLY AWESOME!

I know he has a jetpack behind the wall in order to control the reticule, but I'm still perplexed as to how a lot of that works. I'd like to see it's gutty works.
