I'm really looking forward to Namco Bandai's God Eater, not least of all because it's called GOD EATER! That name is brilliant, and I've therefore decided the game will be brilliant. It's looking hopeful, being a Monster Hunter style PSP RPG with loads of weapons and cool stuff and massive cannons.
Here's five minutes of traileriffic fun from the Tokyo Game Show, splooged onto Youtube by Japanator for your visual pleasure. It's got crazy monsters, massive swords and over-the-top choir singing in it. It's very good footage, and if you've got a PSP, you should probably take note.
Seriously though, the size of the weaponry in this game is absolutely ridiculous.

Looks better than monster hunter. played MH demo, slow and frustrating. This has auto lock on to make fighting faster. the high quality screen is what it look like on actual PSP so it looks amazing. Def gonna buy this
Ergh, I'm no MH fanatic but at least that was reserved. Many things make me sick and Japanese Hipster shit is definitely one of those things with their terrible clothes and out of place music.
Damn, this game is looking more and more awesome as they launch new media!
Its clearly inspired on Monster Hunter though, the co-op, the big ass weapons, the huge monsters, even the lobby system they showed. Still, that isn't a bad thing, quite the contrary.
But unlike MH, this does have a lock on feature. When I hear people whine about how Monster Hunter is hard, that was one of the first complaints.
This Winter eh? I hope the localization doesn't take long because Im completely psyched about this game :)
Nice game Namco Bandai, I think I'll be buying it.
Yeah, its obviously hunting for a slice of that Monster Hunter pie, and to be honest it could work. I love the 3 in 1 sword concept, its got the usual pretty teen suspects, but might be something to help me break out my PSP online.

Looks like it may not live up to its name because it's taking itself seriously.
I prefer Monster Hunter.
Here's hoping it's at least somewhat as good as it looks.
