Check out these brand new screenshots of Rock Band 3 photo

If you take a look at some of the screenshots Harmonix swung our way, and you look deep enough, you can see some heavy duty Pro mode action at play. With Pro Keys and Pro guitar, whoever is rocking that really knows their stuff. Do you think you can handle it? I don't think I can handle it. I think my hands might cramp up. I think I'm a little sad now.

You forgot to mention pro drums as well. Other than that, can't wait!

Pro drums too! You can tell that the drum icon is the little cymbal.

Some of my favorite stuff about the Rock Band series is how their character designs are. That and its variety of music. It's been a long time since I bought a RB/GH bundle. I'll be getting this game brand spanking new even if it costs me an arm and a leg, just to rock out on a keyboard. XD

Wow. Finally it looks like guitar gets some open string emulation. Before only guitar hero bass had it.
But yeah... I don't know what's going on there on guitar. I get that it says 2 up there, as in 2nd fret, but why is the note so much thicker than the strings?

Erk. Actually, quick self correction: I mistook the drums for bass. I don't see an open bass note... but it looks like we have a 5 string now.

One problem: Is there a choice of Bass or Keyboard or is there just an overall 4 instrument limit? No 6-8 player Vocal Guitar Bass Drums Keyboard Turntable with two backup singers action going on?

None of these pictures show pro drums. :) Look at the bar on the left that shows how each player is doing. Pro players have a symbol as well as the word "Pro" on their icon. Normal players only have the symbol. The drums are just on Expert or hard, where you have to actually hit cymbals from time to time, instead of the drums. :)

Ahh, and I can't wait for the game either. :) Seriously, I'm dying for it...I've already preordered both the game/keytar bundle and the MadCatz guitar. Yes, I'm pathetic, I know. :(

Dat UI... *bites lower lip*

I don't know why but seeing screens of the backstage menus and tour challenges really excites me. I'm more interested in those than actual gameplay screens.
