There it is, folks, in the gallery below. The final, official box art for Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. Is it everything you'd hoped it would be? Works for me, I'd say. It's got Frank West on it, after all.

Either way, now you know what to look for when the game hits store shelves in North America on January 26th. how do you guys think it stacks up against the box art for the original Japanese release? Who's buying a Wii for this?

This looks like it's going to be an absolute blast to play. The Wii is going to have like 12 top-tier games by the time I get one. Not too shabby, Nintendo!

I usually give Capcom crap for a lot of things these days, but I've gotta say, this is some classy box art. I especially like that Viewtiful Joe and Hurricane Polymar are crossing kicks right under the title. Very nice.

I'm surprised they've revealed the final boxart without revealing who the final Tatsu character is. There's no way they're going to leave the roster at an unever 25, and that whitespace at the top looks like maybe they're going to fit one more character up there...

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I thought they revealed all the extra characters? On the Capcom side you have Frank West and Zero and on the Tatsunoko side you have Tekkaman Blade and Joe the Condor. That makes the roster 50:50 between Capcom and Tatsunoko.

I'm really liking the cover though. It's more like the old Vs games covers with each side staring the other down.

Except they cut the big genie from the roster due to licensing issues, so there's one less on the Tatsunoko side after the current reveals. There were 5 characters implicated in that HTML leak before they started revealing characters, and at the moment I forget who the fifth one was. But when Zero and Joe the Condor were revealed they were indeed labeled as the "final" additions to the roster. So.... yeah, who knows? I'm willing to bet plans were scrapped for the final character at the last moment for some reason.

Someone probably just posted all this before me.

Wow, fighters from both sides facing eachother. That's an original idea. No other crossover fighting game has used that idea for the box art, except for all of them.

Heck yea! I'm loving the look.

Gamers better support this title.Capcom's done its part so we need to support it. This time, its a real game and not another watered down port or a spin-off title.
There's no good reason why this game should bomb.

January is going to be hot month.I plan on picking up Tatsunoko vs. Capcom along with No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle.

Much better than the original, looks like a traditional versus cover. I can't tell you enough how much I like this art style, perfectly crisp and minimalistic. Also Zero is totally distracted, makes it look like they "took" the picture so to speak.

That's not Hakushon Daimou, that's Gold Lightan. Daimou's still gone.

For the record, the fifth new playable character was supposed to be Yatterman #2, #1's girlfriend.

I wish I could do a combo of more than 5 hits in any given fighting game, or at least do a decent half-circle + attack on demand. Maybe this game isn't for...

Ah screw it. Zero, Tekkaman Blade, Viewtiful Joe and Megaman Volnutt are in it. I'm sold already. And that artwork just tops it all off.

Is one of those bird people kicking Viewtiful Joe in the kneecap?

Anyway, the boxart is way more 'cool' and 'dynamic' looking than the original Japanese one.
