Here on Destructoid, almost no one is talking about the two PS3/PS Vita exclusive cat characters in Street Fighter X Tekken. That's weird to me. Toro and Kuro are awesome. That's one of the many things I learned from the great TopherCantler. Ah Topher, how we miss you.
Another thing I've learned over the years is that a lot of fightans will happily take a mob hit out on you if you cause anything to obscure their vision from footage of an unreleased fighting game. Toro and Kuro would do well to enter the witness protection program sooner rather than later.
In-between the the costumed cat theatrics, you'll get a peek at how Toro and Kuro take it to the streets. Toro has clearly been taking some lessons from Ryu, while Kuro is more of Kazuya-ass man. Speaking of which, did I ever show you that wall scroll that Hamza sent me? It's got butts.

Capcom's Smash Bros. Excited, but I wanted to see something more competitive and not fucking casual friendly. Doesn't mean I won't enjoy it, already have that collector's edition locked down!
But, KOFXIII and SC5 will keep my competition fix for 2012. Not excited for Skullgirls, and TTT2 isn't out yet...
How do you know these characters will even be in the non-Japan versions of the game? Just like Norimaru from Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, these cats could just be exclusive to Japan. In fact, they seem like it.
I hope this happens to make it to America! I still have that one free game (with the cats) they made on my PS3, and I play it every once in a while because those mini-games are actually pretty good!
Phew. Saw the video pic and thought for a second they had put El Fuerte in SFxT. Hate that character. So much.
In other news, spent like 9 hours with SFxT at the Namco x Capcom fight club in London on Friday and Saturday, and I love it. I <3 this game so much. The Tekken characters are a blast to play.
Yeah, Janklogs; I think you should probably direct some anger towards MS for that. Anyway, you might get one. Still plenty of time.
On-topic: No one is talking about Toro & Kuro because their Vita excitement has been sucked out of them by Sony. Myself included.
This reminds me of how bad I wanted a Monster Hunter with Felyne specials in MvC3 (or vice versa)...

I will play the Xbox Version, so I dont really mind them in the game.
But as a Xbox Owner, I dont really feel that I'm missing out on something special.
I just fell that this game brings together Tekken and Street Fighter fans, to battle each other, I just feel everyone wants his favourite chars from these games.
Every Info about guest charakters is just a slap in the face for people who are still waiting for the anouncement of their fave char.
Still waiting for Dudley and Honda. Even if I'm really happy to alrdy have Rolento and Rufus :)

So now the PS3 has 3 exclusive characters over the 360? Ummm ok... Too bad MS doesn't have any other IPs worth being in the game, but also not interested in picking up a PS3 right away. Will probably pick this up when they re-release it with the final full roster.
My first exposure to Toro in memory was when I bought a new PocketStation off eBay for FFVIII. Ever since, he's been p cool to see around, particularly in the occasional fanart (there's one where they're both dressed up like Firion from DISSIDIA).

It's been confirmed by Capcom that they're in the International versions.
Plus, y'know, the fact that they're on the English Website.
