It’s actually silly. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is getting all this news and attention. It’s a ten year old game, there are almost no new features added to it for its re-release, and I’m not even that good at it! Yet, of all things, it is my most anticipated game of the year. Go figure. Also, it’s coming out on my birthday, so it’s like Capcom is saying “Happy birthday, Ben! You are a special and treasured human being! Here is a present from us!”
Unfortunately, we still have two weeks before the big day. Which only sucks if you are someone from outside the SF Bay Area, (or, I dunno, own a copy of the original), as our friends at Giant Bomb and Capcom have teamed up for an epic night of MvC2 goodness tomorrow. I’m going to be there, as well as community member Tactix, and we’d love to see some more Dtoid faces come in and throw down against our Giant Bomb-brethren. There’s going to be cheap drinks (sorry, 21 and over), great games, neat prizes, and a good time with some good people. Be there, or be the lamest combo of Amingo, BBHood, Tron Bonne. Seriously, who plays those?
whats with all this stupid ass artwork they keep releasing? It's almost as if they're trying to fool people into thinking its some kind of hd remix. The game wasn't that great when it came out, it's not that great now. All they did was reuse sprites and animations from games that they've used several times over. All the xmen sprites are almost identical to their children of the atom counterparts!!

Also, I use BB Hood primarily for her awesome projectile assist. The way it moves slowly across the screen is amazing :D

LICENSING ISSUES.
They said they are more than likely to never get the license back from Marvel.
yeah its true about the licenses, i would love to see some Dante in one of these capcom mashups. he fits the bill perfectly.
